If you already game on a desktop with an RTX-class GPU, GamerHash is mostly about using hardware you already have for things you’d otherwise pay for.

A typical setup

  1. Install the AI App on your gaming PC. Free, Windows-only.
  2. Run it whenever you want private AI — chat with Llama, generate images with FLUX, run video clips through LTX. Local, fast, no usage caps.
  3. Toggle on the earning module when you’re done gaming — before bed, before work, or any stretch you’re not using the GPU. It runs in the background until you launch a game, which pushes it out automatically.
  4. Check the Mobile app in the morning — see what your PC earned overnight.
  5. Spend GUSD in the Store — or convert to GHX and HODL.

Why this beats paid AI services

  • Cloud AI (ChatGPT Plus, Midjourney, Sora) costs $20–60/month and caps your usage. Local AI on the same GPU you already own costs nothing extra.

Edge cases

  • Tournament / competitive gaming setup? Just leave the earning module off during your gaming sessions. Launching a game would push it out anyway, but if you want zero risk of micro-stutters at startup, keep it disabled until you’re done playing.
  • Older GPU? Earning starts at 16 GB VRAM — anything below is local-use only for now. With 8 GB you still get chat and basic image gen on your own machine, just no network workloads.
  • Multiple PCs? Run the AI App on each — earnings consolidate to one account, GHXP accumulates faster.
  • No interest in crypto? Skip the GHX side entirely. GUSD → store → game keys. Done.
