- AI jobs pay you. When a job runs on your GPU, your earnings balance goes up in GUSD, counted 1:1 with the US dollar inside the platform. GUSD is an internal earnings balance — not a token, not a stablecoin. See Earning model.
- The app collects points. Every minute the app is running, you accrue GHXP (GamerHash Experience Points). Points are not money — they decide where you place in the season ranking.
GHXP never changes what a single AI job pays. What it does decide is where you finish in the season ranking.

Activity points (GHXP)
GHXP is a points balance tied to your GamerHash account. You collect it for the time the app spends running — including hours when there is no work in the queue for your machine. How points accrue
- Every minute the app is running.
- Points show up as Pending during the current hour and are credited to your account at the top of each hour. Closing the app before the hour completes drops that hour’s pending points.
- Running in the background counts — the app does not need to be in the foreground.
- Quiet hours count too — points keep accruing even when no job arrives.
GHX Boost: points accrue faster
Holding GHX raises your account level, and your account level is what sets how fast GHXP accrues. The chain runs one way: GHX → level → faster points. Either place works, as long as it sits under the same GamerHash account that runs the app:- GHX in MetaMask
- GHX in the GHX wallet built into the app
- Balances in both wallets count together.
- There is a cap, so larger holders cannot dominate.
- Nothing is locked or staked — the GHX only has to sit in one of those wallets.
Account level comes from GHX, not from points
Your account level in the AI App is set by how much GHX you hold — not by how many activity points you have collected. Accruing GHXP does not move your level, and locking GHXP in a season does not move it either. Points are what the level acts on, never the other way round. What GHXP is not
- Not a token. No contract address, no market price — they are reward-programme points.
- Not transferable. It is tied to your GamerHash account.
- Not tradeable. You can’t sell points or move them between accounts. They turn into GHX one way only: lock them in a season and take the reward for the place you finish in.
- Not an earnings balance. Work pays in GUSD; points do not add to that balance.
- Not a level. Level follows your GHX holdings, not your points.
Seasons
Seasons run monthly. Each season lasts one month, and seasons are running now. The GHX handed out each season is provided by GamerCoin under a cooperation arrangement — it is not funded from platform revenue. How a season works
1
Lock your GHXP in the app
Inside the GamerHash AI App, commit points to the current season. You can lock up to 80% of the GHXP you have accumulated — the remaining 20% stays on your account and keeps counting toward later seasons.
2
What you lock places you in the ranking
Everyone taking part is ranked by how much GHXP they locked that month. The more you lock, the higher you finish.
3
Each place pays a set amount
Every position in the ranking carries a defined GHX reward for that season. When the month closes, you receive the amount attached to the place you finished in.
Your reward follows your place in the ranking, not a rate per point. GHXP does not convert into GHX at a fixed ratio — what you lock decides where you land, and where you land decides what you are paid. How much it takes to reach a given place depends on how much everyone else locked that month.
Anything that leaves the platform leaves as crypto. Your earnings balance goes out as USDC or GHX, or gets spent in the Store — there is no payout to a bank account. See Wallets.
Getting the most out of your points
- Leave the app running when the machine is idle. Points accrue per minute, and a pause mid-hour drops that hour’s pending points.
- Points accrue faster at a higher account level — which means holding GHX, in MetaMask, in the in-app GHX wallet, or both. The two balances count together, up to the cap.
- Lock your GHXP each month. Points you never lock don’t place you anywhere, and the ceiling is 80% of what you hold.
Watch out for
- Closing the app mid-hour discards that hour’s pending points. Schedule restarts on the hour boundary, not in the middle of it.
- The 80% ceiling is per season. You cannot commit your entire balance — plan around locking at most four fifths of it.
