This builds on Install the AI App. It assumes you already have the app installed, signed in, and your GPU benchmarked. Time: 10 minutes to set up; then it runs in the background.

1. Open the earning module

Sidebar → Earning

The earning section is separate from the local-AI modules. The dashboard explains what’s on offer before you opt in.

Read the disclosure

The module dispatches third-party workloads to your machine. Make sure you’re comfortable with that before enabling — see Privacy.

Enable the module

Toggle the Earning switch on. Your GPU joins the dispatch pool.

2. How it interacts with gaming

Earning workloads use your full GPU and VRAM — you can’t earn and game at the same time. Launching a game forces the earning module out; you reclaim the GPU instantly. When the game closes, earning resumes on its own as soon as the queue has work for your card. Just leave the module on whenever you’re not gaming or doing other GPU-heavy work.

3. Maximize yield

Hold GHX for the boost

The single biggest yield multiplier. Hold any GHX in MetaMask or in your in-app GHX wallet under the same account — see GHXP. Boost applies automatically.

Run continuously

The longer the app runs without restart, the larger your hour-credited GHXP accrual. Restarting mid-hour drops that hour’s pending points.

Lock your GHXP each season

GHX rewards are distributed every two months. Lock your accumulated GHXP before the season closes — your share of the pool = your locked GHXP ÷ total locked across all participants. Skip the lock and you forfeit that season.

Don't run multiple machines under different accounts

GHXP and levels consolidate per account. Run all your GPUs under one account — you’ll level up faster.

4. Track earnings

In-app dashboard

Live per-hour, per-day, per-month numbers. Workload count and average pay per workload.

Mobile app

The Mobile app shows the same numbers — useful when you’re not at the PC.

5. Pull GUSD out

Three exit routes — pick at any time:
  1. In-app Wallet → Convert → GUSD → GHX.
  2. Pick the chain (Ethereum / BNB Chain / Solana).
  3. Confirm. GHX lands in the wallet you’ve connected.
  4. From there, HODL or stake for up to 25% APR via staking.gamercoin.com.

Troubleshooting

Several causes:
  • GPU class — older / smaller GPUs only qualify for a subset of workloads. Run benchmarks; check the live workload pool size.
  • Network demand — check the latest Community Update on Medium for demand signals.
  • Connection issues — restart the app; verify you’re not behind a corporate VPN that blocks dispatch traffic.
GHXP itself doesn’t decrease while you’re active — but your share of each season’s GHX pool is relative. Your slice = your locked GHXP ÷ total locked across all participants, so as more people lock larger amounts, individual slices shrink. Consistency over many seasons compounds; holding GHX (in MetaMask or your in-app wallet) keeps the boost stacked through accrual.
Earn workloads hold the full GPU and VRAM. Launching a game forces the module out — you should reclaim the GPU within seconds. If the game still refuses to start, close the AI App, launch the game, and let earning resume after you exit.
Conversion is occasionally throttled during platform maintenance. The Wallet page shows scheduled windows; usually resolves within an hour.
BNB Chain transfers usually settle within minutes. If stuck >24h, contact Discord #support with the transaction reference shown in the Wallet log and the destination address you used.
